About Us

We’re Falabola — an international EdTech startup founded by Anton Gudyrev in 2024. We believe that learning a language is, first and foremost, about practice. We built an AI partner that gives you real conversation practice whenever you need it, without the cost and hassle of classic lessons.

In a standard language app, it all comes down to memorizing words. Lessons with a teacher cost a lot; conversation clubs don’t always fit your schedule or level; and for many people, there’s no one to talk to at all. On top of that, it’s tough to find teachers who can discuss narrow topics — from tech to medicine — or who can keep up with you when you’re already at a strong level in a language other than English. We see AI as the answer: always available, on any topic, at a fraction of the cost. Our product is built as a partner for your learning journey, not as a full replacement — and above all, as affordable, real-life practice.

The first users joined Falabola in January 2025. By the end of that year, we had passed 100,000 users. Today we support four languages: English, German, Spanish, and French.
We’re expanding internationally. Our goal is simple: to make effective, affordable language practice available to people anywhere in the world.
